My experience is that no single theory or treatment approach is "the best" for everyone. My training includes psychodynamic, cognitive and behavioral therapies. Some styles work better or worse given your unique needs and background.

My approach is to draw from the various schools of evidence-based treatments and provide care based on your specific situation. In selecting from a number of types of treatment, my approach is eclectic. And in focusing on what works and is effective for you, my treatment is pragmatic.

Whether dealing with a couple caught up in harsh arguments, a depressed teenager, someone paralyzed by panic in a supermarket or a person with alcohol and drug problems, we will work together to find the strategies that help that specific person with his/her problem and life situation.
